| These lovely Easter eggs are perfect for decorating your Easter tree. A. There is one larger egg - approximately 3 inches long - with a bird on one side and flowers on the other (enlargement 3 and 4). The other four are smaller - approximately 2 1/2 inches long - and each has a different motif (B. w/ large rose - enlargement 5, C. w/small rose - enlargement 3, D. w/ daisy and rose - enlargement 7 and E. w/ forget-me-nots - enlargement 6). Please order the eggs in the set with storage box or individually by letters A. through E. by putting this information into the 'Comments or Queries' box on the order form. These eggs are part of the MAROLIN® Easter collection. MAROLIN® is the firm which produces these German folk art eggs in the Thuringian forests of the eastern part of Germany. The artists at MAROLIN® use their own special paper-mâché recipe which is over 100 years old and a trade secret. First the special mixture is poured into a plaster of Paris mold which absorbs the moisture. After 6 days the mold can be opened and the eggs are ready to be 'baked' at 70°C. These eggs have been especially painted to give them a lovely patina. | |||||||||||
