| This is one of six varying plates in a set matching another catalog item, a V&B cakestand or compote. Each plate is 7 1/2" in diameter. This particular plate shows a hunter with his dog and gun. The rim is adorned with hunting gear, game and dogs. The outer edge has perhaps two flea bites or original flaws, but otherwise the condition is excellent. The impressed mark on the back was used between 1880-1900 by the Villeroy & Boch factory in Septfontaines, Luxemburg. | ||
