| This wonderful little blue and white antique doll kitchen has been restored with copies of the original floor and wallpapers. The outside measurements are approximately 23 1/4 inches wide x 10 3/4 inches deep x 11 inches high. Inside it is 20 inches wide at the front tapering to 16 1/2 inches at the back. Furthermore the inside is 10 inches deep and 9 3/4 inches high. The furniture is original, but when discovered on an attic in Germany it was covered with ugly white paint. This paint has been carefully removed to reveal the lovely original paint and ornamentation. The hutch - 10 inches high x 5 1/2 inches wide - and table were then re-glued and some of the ornamentation was restored. One part of the table was missing and unnoticeably replaced. The hanging shelf was not part of the original kitchen. Its paint has been touched up a bit to match that of the other furniture in the room box. All of the accessories are vintage appropriate except the little tin washstand which is a bit younger. The blue tin coffee grinder has tiny red wooden knobs which are a replacement for the missing original red ones. This wonderful antique toy is complete with all of the accessories, and yet there is plenty of space for the new owner to add a personal note. | |||||||||||||
