| This is a pressed cardboard calendar top which was made in Germany around 1950. It was made to be used with a small calendar pad but such a pad was never attached to this top. Perhaps because this particular 'Merry Christmas' design was produced for export. Therefore there are no holes or markings at the bottom. Such decorations were recycled, when the year came to an end, as wall decorations in subsequent years. The decoration is air-brushed and decorated with glitter. It is marked 'FOREIGN' on the back. And is in pristine condition. | ||
