| What charming counter scales for a German room box store! The scales are mounted on the wooden counter which has an opening on the top so that dolly can drop coins into the center drawer. The drawer is not the original wooden one but an old drawer made of tin to fill in for the one which got lost long ago. There is also a rack with holes for weights, but there are no weights with the counter. The counter itself is 6 1/2 inches wide, 3 1/4 inches deep and 3 inches high. The scales have 2 brass pans - 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Both the counter and scales are in lovely condition. Circa: 1900-1910.
