This little black and white fellow, another 'Odenwald Pferd' (horse), stands on a great platform with matching green rockers. He is 5 1/2 inches tall including the rockers which are 7 inches long. This horse, too, was made by hand in a small workshop in the forest of Odenwald in Germany just like his ancestors were made 100 years ago. A wonderful decorative toy to bring back the memories of times gone by.

This charming fellow, reminiscent of times past, is made all by hand today in a small workshop in the forest of Odenwald in Germany just like the toys of 100 years ago. He is approximately 8 1/2 inches tall, and the green plate form he stands on is 5 3/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches. A wonderful decorative toy to bring back the memories of times gone by.

Just like in days of olde, a toy peddler selling his wares of carved wooden toys from his vendor's tray. This 8 inch fellow is a smoker from the Erzgebirge of Germany where for generations families have lathed these cheerful wooden incense burners. His body can be removed from the legs to insert a special incense candle which makes the peddler actually smoke through his mouth. Antikhaus also sells the necessary incense candles.

This sweet little black kitty is sunning in the garden. She can also be used as a black Halloween cat. She is approximately 7 inches long. Made and hand-painted by artists working at the tiny MAROLIN® workshop in the Thuringian Forest of Germany. All MAROLIN® items are made of very fine, porcelain-like paper mâché from a secret recipe which is over 100 years old. A new item but filled with years of traditional craftsmanship.

There are 4 chickens in this group 2 hens, a rooster and 1 yellow peep. The rooster is 1 1/2 inches tall and the standing hen is the same size. All of the family have metal legs. Nice to use with the German stable or great for Easter. They are another fine item from MAROLIN®. All MAROLIN® items are made of very fine, porcelain-like paper mâché. This charming fellow's head moves up and down with any slight movement. Therefore he is called a nodder. His head is attached to his papier-mâché body with wire. He has a red felt saddle on his back. The white tusks are wooden. On the bottom of his feet there are tiny red wooden beads so that he can be moved back and forth. He is approx. 5 1/4 inches tall and 8 inches long. Circa: 1880. In very nice condition for his age.
