This lovely Goebel floral ring is creamy antique white decorated with raised hearts and flowers. There are 6 pieces in the oval ring. Each piece is marked with the Full Bee enclosed in a incised circle which was used from 1950 to 1955(TMK2). Bowls of this sort are used to arrange small flowers, hence named "Pansy Bowl". When all 6 pieces are together the oval measures approximately 11 inches x 7 1/2 inches. The bowl has a tiny flea bite and does have some crazing, but the over all ...click for details

This Art Nouveau majolica pitcher is dark green with delicate green leaves and flowers. Made by Villeroy & Boch in its Dresden, Germany factories, it stands 6 1/2 inches tall and has just the right colors for contemporary decorating schemes. There is a small chip on the upper lip of the pitcher which can be seen in the photos, but otherwise the condition is very nice. With a bunch of appropriate flowers the chip would not be seen and the display effect would be stunning! Circa 1900-1920.

This is another French majolica plate with the cheery triangular pansy design. It is pictured on page 36 of Pierre Faveton's book "Les Barbotines". The plate is 8 1/4 inches in diameter, has the H. Boulenger marking. The plate has a crack on the edge which is approximately 3/4 inch long but which does not go though to the face of the plate. This crack can be seen on the photo on the lower right corner. Also there is some crazing. The plate is quite a lovely piece. Circa 1900.

A wonderful majolica plate which harmonizes well with a blue or turquoise color scheme. This imposing plate was made for wall display and has a hole in the back for hanging. It is 12 inches in diameter and is a stylized palm leaf with gerbera flowers in blue and deep pink. The glazing on the plate is in shiny condition, but there are some rough spots along the rim and where the flowers are raised. These flaws are not really noticeable. The plate is not marked but most probably a product of Ville ...click for details

Delightful fruit plate! This type of plate was produced over a long period of time, but this particular one is pre-1900 and shows the appropriate mark on the back. It is 7 1/2 inches in diameter, has no chips or cracks but normal crazing for a piece of this vintage. On the back rim there are 2 holes for threading a string to hang the plate on the wall. A most decorative piece!

An exquisite set to serve strawberry delights or brighten your dining area! All of the pieces in this set of fine ceramics have gold rims, partially sponged, and are beautifully hand-painted so each one is unique. The painting is in mint condition and the surfaces show only minimal crazing. One plate has a slight hairline - see picture - and some of the others have tiny fleabites, two have chips on the bottom rims that the plates stand on. Truly unique! This French majolica asparagus platter and cradle combination is not marked other than with numbers and perhaps a decorator's mark (see picture of bottom of cradle). The hand-painted flowers and insects are quite vivid and make it perfect for both an elegant or a country-style table. The platter is approximately 13 1/2 inches x 10 inches, the cradle 8 1/2 inches long, 5 3/4 inches wide and 3 inches high. There is one slight chip on the platter (tip of asparagus spear). And som ...click for details
