They are a rich burgundy color with ecru trim accented in gold. The bases are black and white with a feathered pattern and the interiors are a delicate blue. One of the vases is in perfect condition while the other has a very small chip on the upper rim. Both are marked with impressed numbers. Circa late 19th to early 20th century. The outer edge has perhaps two flea bites or original flaws, but otherwise the condition is excellent. The impressed mark on the back was used between 1880-1900 by the Villeroy & Boch factory in Septfontaines, Luxemburg. The plate has a crack on the edge which is approximately 3/4 inch long but which does not go though to the face of the plate. This crack can be seen on the photo on the lower right corner.
