Cute little glazed earthenware fish for a German
doll kitchen. They are olive green, burgundy and white, 2 inches long, 1 inch wide and 1/2 inch deep. The burgundy and green fish each have a flea bite on the rim.
They were most likely manufactured by National Street Collection of the Winter Welfare Agency. Circa: 1940-1942.
Such a nice little cooking machine!! Just 7 1/4 inches wide and 5 1/4 inches deep. The stove itself is only 4 inches high, with the stovepipe 8 inches. There are 2 tin cooking pots and a nice black riveted frying pan -- with a sausage! These are not original but fit well. The knobs on the oven doors are porcelain. The solder where the bar is attached on the left front is a bit lose as are the feet. Yet no danger that they could break off!! The ever so tiny hot pad is included in the sale. This German stove is made to be used in a doll kitchen. The body of the stove is lacquered white sheet metal. The top, feet, front door and front rack are nickel-plate. Its heating element is an alcohol burner. The back of the stove has 6 small vent holes and there is no stove pipe. There are 3 stove openings for pots, each opening has a 2 inch diameter. This cute little tin oval laundry tub is painted blue. It is 4 inches long and 2 ¼ inches wide. The wooden washboard is 2 ¾ inches tall 1 ½ inches wide. There are 3 wooden clothespins and a soapbox in the tub. It would be a great addition to a German doll kitchen.
