This little house is a match for our German putz Seiffen church. It too shows an icy wintry scene from the Erzgebirge with a typical mountain house. The wooden figures are lathed - a snowman and a Santa complete with sleigh and gifts. The bottle-brush trees, the mica snow and the light inside make it a complete tableaux, but other houses from our collection (please inquire) could make a complete putz village. The base is 6 1/2" x 7 1/4" and the house is 5" high.

A wonderful model of the octagonal village church in Seiffen, Germany, the place where so many German wooden toys are made. This lovely putz church for Christmas decorating is handcrafted of sturdy board and cardboard in the Erzgebirge. It is complete with mica snow, bottle-brush trees and tiny lathed carol singers. There is actually a tiny bell in the steeple and a light inside. The base is 6 1/2" x 7 1/2". with the steeple it is 8 3/4" tall.
