This 6 1/4 inch standing rabbit is a German folk art item from our Werner Brauer Collection. He is made of paper-mâché using an original mold from the early 20th century. His eyes are glass, and his head can be removed to put sweets into the container body. Mr. Brauer creates and hand-paints all of the items for this collection in his Central German studio. The rabbit is signed by the artist and dated on the bottom.
