This five piece set of Art Nouveau German doll kitchen furniture is in lovely condition and most complete, although it is approximately 100 years old. The hutch is 11 ¾ inches high, 7 inches wide and 3 ¼ inches deep. The sideboard is approximately 6 ½ inches tall, 7 inches wide and 3 inches deep. Such small containers were used near the stove in German kitchens to hold, in this case, flour (Mehl) for dusting meat or thickening gravy or salt (Salz).The blue pattern is a modified onion pattern, and the lettering is gold-colored. There are no flaws or cracks and only minimal wear. These items are approximately 1 ï¿½ inches wide and 1 ï¿½ inches high and were made around 1910. Only 1 'Mehl' with light-colored lettering still available.
