There is a hinge on the back and a latch on the front. It is 3 ¼ inches long, 2 inches wide and 1 inch high. Circa: 1900.

These wonderful store room box scales have a tin base painted white with 2 brass cups for measuring. The white base is 4 3/4 inches long, approx 2 inches tall and 1 3/4 inches wide. The brass cups have a top diameter of 2 1/4 inches. Circa: 1910-1920. Excellent condition.
