A unique accessory for your sewing room! This unusual piece was most probably crafted by a village smith or itinerate peddler. It is 8 ¾ inches long from its tip to the loop for hanging it for storage. The widest part at the back is 5 inches. With a heavy old iron it makes a lovely rustic, yet romantic, display piece. Iron not included in sale. Circa 1910-1920 or earlier.
