This Art Nouveau majolica pitcher is dark green with delicate green leaves and flowers. Made by Villeroy & Boch in its Dresden, Germany factories, it stands 6 1/2 inches tall and has just the right colors for contemporary decorating schemes. There is a small chip on the upper lip of the pitcher which can be seen in the photos, but otherwise the condition is very nice. With a bunch of appropriate flowers the chip would not be seen and the display effect would be stunning! Circa 1900-1920.

A wonderful Sarreguemines fruit bowl which could be used with the ever lovely dessert fruit plates or cheese dome (see antikhaus items #187896 and #92179). The marking on the bottom of the bowl was first used around 1900 and at the beginning of the 20th century. The outside of the bowl - approximately 10 inches in diameter and 3 inches high - is in wonderful condition, shiny and no crazing. The inside shows the usual crazing of a piece of its vintage. There are no chips, cracks or fleabites. Cir ...click for details

A wonderful majolica plate which harmonizes well with a blue or turquoise color scheme. This imposing plate was made for wall display and has a hole in the back for hanging. It is 12 inches in diameter and is a stylized palm leaf with gerbera flowers in blue and deep pink. The glazing on the plate is in shiny condition, but there are some rough spots along the rim and where the flowers are raised. These flaws are not really noticeable. The plate is not marked but most probably a product of Ville ...click for details

Stunning - small, delicate hand-painted plates!! Both plates are white and have an outer green band with gold trim. They are 6 1/4 inches in diameter. Both of the plates are painted with different kinds of ferns. The one with the smaller leaves is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and is therefore more expensive. The other plate with the larger fern design has a tiny chip on the back rim as well as some gold trim missing on the front rim. But still it is a nice piece. B ...click for details

Delightful fruit plate! This type of plate was produced over a long period of time, but this particular one is pre-1900 and shows the appropriate mark on the back. It is 7 1/2 inches in diameter, has no chips or cracks but normal crazing for a piece of this vintage. On the back rim there are 2 holes for threading a string to hang the plate on the wall. A most decorative piece!
